Shake Shack opens its first greater Raleigh location at Waverly Place!

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

In addition to the classics, the Waverly Place Shack will be spinning up a unique selection of frozen custard concretes:

-Cary Cookie Crumble – Vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce, cookie butter, crumbled sugar cone

-Shack Attack – Chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks, topped with chocolate sprinkles

-Pie Oh My – Vanilla custard blended with pieces of East Durham Bake Shop seasonal pie

Guests can wash their burgers down with local brews from Lonerider Brewing Company, Fortnight Brewing, Trophy Brewing Co., The Mason Jar Lager Company and Aviator Brewing Company plus Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister® Ale. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of Shack RedTM and Shack WhiteTM wine from the Gotham Project.

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, the Waverly Place Shack will donate 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete to Cause for Paws of NC, a nonprofit committed to protecting, nurturing, and finding homes for unwanted or displaced animals.

Waverly Wine Walk Fall Series

Enjoy fall weather in Cary with the return of Waverly Place’s Wine Walk. Visit participating shops and restaurants for wine samples and exclusive promotions to support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Presented by Johnson Subaru of Cary, the signature event series returns this fall on Friday, August 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continues September 27 and October 25.

Select merchants will be offering samples of red, white and sparkling wines in-store, selected by Triangle Wine Company. A $15 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund allows access to the event along with a sampling cup and Waverly Wine Walk Passport. Guests must be over 21 years of age to sample wines. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or on-site at Kay Yow booths located in The Park and near Kale Me Crazy.
