An Update on COVID-19

15 August 2020

March 2, 2021

The safety and health of our guests, employees, and community continues to be our top priority. We are in regular communication with the local government and are continually sharing the latest CDC and health department recommendations with our tenants to provide the safest possible environment for everyone.

Retail, restaurant and service establishments are opening based on North Carolina’s phased plan. Please visit individual business pages in our directory for updated hours of operation and available services.

Based on the Governor’s Executive Order, all residents will be required to wear face coverings in public beginning Friday, June 26. Please make sure you wear face coverings when visiting the center, both inside the shops and restaurants, and in outdoor spaces within 6-feet of other guests.

The Playground is open as of Friday, September 4. The Splash Pad will not open for the 2020 season. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note new signage during your next visit to Waverly Place.

Curbside Parking Program

For the convenience of our businesses and customers, Waverly Place has rolled out a curbside parking program. Various parking spaces will be designated for short-term parking for curbside and to-go pickup.  The dedicated parking spaces will be marked with a ZONE and NUMBER for customer reference. A list of zones is available below and a map is located here for reference.

  • ZONE A (1-5): Behind Gonza Tacos Y Tequila

  • ZONE C (1-3): Near Whisk
  • ZONE D (1-6): Near Famous Toastery

Protect Yourself and Those Around You

We encourage guests to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations while on property. Please check with individual businesses regarding additional in-store safety measures and requirements for customers. Click here to view a PDF version of the latest Waverly Place guidelines.

Practice Safe Social Distancing

Guests must practice safe social distancing both inside retail establishments and while enjoying the outdoor space. Markers will be placed on sidewalks to indicate gaps of 6-8 feet. Due to occupancy restrictions, guests may be required to wait outside retail and restaurant establishments. Please use these markers to ensure safe space between customers.

Know Which Businesses Are Open

Waverly Place businesses are using signage to indicate their current offerings and operating status. The signs will be placed on tenant front doors for reference.

We appreciate your support and cooperation as we resume operations.
