The annual holiday celebration returns with fun and activities for the entire family, sponsored by Johnson Subaru of Cary.
Tis the season to be merry! It’s time to kick off holiday festivities with Waverly Place’s 7th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration, happening Friday, November 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Grab your family, friends and neighbors for this joyous event, sure to put even the biggest Scrooge in the holiday spirit!
This year’s Tree Lighting, presented by Johnson Subaru of Cary, is jam-packed with holiday fun! Arrive early for dinner and socializing with family and friends, then make your way to The Park area for a special holiday concert from The Embers featuring Craig Woolard, kicking off at 6 p.m.
Mayor Harold Weinbrecht of Cary, NC will take the stage just before 7 p.m. to introduce Santa and count down to the tree lighting. Your little ones will want to secure their spot on the ‘nice list’ this year as Santa will be on-site throughout the evening to greet and take photos with the children. Parents and family are welcome to bring a camera and take photos of our special guest.
Throughout the evening’s merriment, indulge in tasty treats and beverages offered by Waverly Place restaurants and retailers. Get something roasty toasty from Uncle Bob’s Nuts and then take in the awe-inspiring aerialist acts or jump in front of our festive photo booth. Your lovable holiday pals, Frosty and Rudolph, will be roaming The Park area to greet children and take photos as well.
