2022 Tree Lighting Celebration

Join us at Waverly Place on Friday, November 18th, 5:30pm-9:00pm for a celebration of the start of the holiday season benefiting Read and Feed!

Read and Feed strives to strengthen literacy skills among underserved elementary school children and provide meals in a nurturing neighborhood environment. You too can support their mission! Bring new and gently used books intended for children in grades K-5 to donate during our Tree Lighting event. Books honoring diverse backgrounds and experiences, including stories by and about people of color. Bilingual books (Spanish/English) are also greatly appreciated. A donation site will be located in The Park area of the Waverly Place center during the Tree Lighting event.
