Acoustic Nights in the Park

Join Waverly Place for Acoustic Nights in the Park on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm through September. Guests can enjoy a variety of acoustic acts each week along with interactive strolling entertainers. Plan dinner at one of the restaurant patios or bring a blanket to The Park to enjoy the complimentary entertainment. Coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted.

Aaron Pelsue is a singer-songwriter based in Raleigh, NC. Known for his deep soulful sound he will perform an eclectic mix of covers and originals across many genres.

June 16: Annika Bovender

Annika is an award-winning, Charleston, SC born, singer-songwriter and worship director. Annika’s sound includes the soulful elements of Adele, R&B qualities of Amy Winehouse, and the current twist of ZZ Ward. She utilizes these influences to cover songs from all genres and decades.

June 23: Garland Mason

Mixing styles of rock, blues, soul, Motown and pop, Garland Mason has been a successful Raleigh musician for over 5 years. A unique, soulful voice and creative musical mind lends to his success, as he often wows audiences with his personal takes on many hit bar covers and his own original tracks.

June 30: Ron and Donna Davis

Ron is the lead guitarist and vocalist for the Davis Messina Band. He is experienced in Country, rock, blues, and his own original composition. Donna brings versatility with keyboards, organ, fiddle and back-up vocals. Her musical style has influences from many genres–Southern Rock, R&B, Classic Rock, Reggae, and Country.

July 7: Paul Bomar Trio

After playing in several funk and rock bands, Paul set out to share his passion for jazz with the Raleigh-Durham area and performed with his own groups and other jazz combos, as well as working as a session musician for numerous performers in the area.

July 14: Tommy Niemann

Tommy Niemann is a singer/songwriter based near Raleigh, NC. Tommy writes music that is relatable and honest but enjoys covering anything from country to 90s grunge. He is known for learning song requests on the spot, so feel free to challenge him!

September 1: Sam Kenoly

Sam is a singer-songwriter from Fuquay-Varina. He began his professional music career at the age of 16 years old and has traveled to over 70 nations around the world singing for crowds as large as 200,000. He has recorded 3 albums with his brother as a member of the duo “The Kenoly Brothers.” He currently oversees the music department at his church full-time and enjoys coaching and training up-and-coming vocalists in the triangle area.

September 22: Jason Adamo

An interesting thing happens when talented musicians ditch gimmicks and masks; honest, unpretentious, full-bodied music is born. The Jason Adamo Band started with the man himself, a truly soulful singer with inspired lyrics and raspy falsetto. Currently residing in Raleigh, NC, Adamo has lived in New York City and Nashville immersing himself in each city’s music and songwriting scene. Jason Recently received RIAA Gold and Platinum plaques as a songwriter for the song “Beautiful Believer” on Brett Young’s debut album on The Big Machine Label Group. Adamo’s Joe Cocker-like “bold grit and heart,” and ability to take a captive audience from “engaged silence” to a “floor stomping, rollicking, good time.”
