Pups, Pints & Play

Waverly Place is honored to support Second Chance Pet Adoptions with our Pups, Pints & Play event, Saturday, March 18, 12-4pm. Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the oldest no-kill rescue organization in Wake County, having rescued over 17,000 since they began in 1987. Their  mission is to champion cats and dogs in need who are healthy or treatable in the quest to find their loving homes and engage with our community to promote responsible pet ownership, ultimately reducing future generations of animals in need. We invite you to bring your pups out to play or come alone to meet some of the cutest pups, young and old, searching for their forever homes.

Here’s what we have planned –

 FREE 10-minute photo sessions with pet photographer, Joanne Wetzel, with Five Freedom Photography are now FULLY BOOKED.

 Live music performed by a local favorite, Tommy Neiman.

 Stuff a Subaru Challenge to pack a Johnson Subaru of Cary with donation items from the Second Chance Pet Adoptions wish list.

 Pints of craft beer from Bombshell Beer Company will be available for sale $6 each with 100% of sales going back to Second Chance Pet Adoptions.

🐶 Binky & Bell will be onsite with their collaboration created original cartoon dog art. They will donate a portion of sales to local rescues and shelters like Second Chance Pet Adoptions

🐶 King of Pops will provide FREE King of Pup treats as well as FREE traditional pops for pet parents, while supplies last

🐶 Luna’s Little Boutique will showcase handmade dog bandanas, collars and leashes. They will donate a portion of sales back to Second Chance Pet Adoptions.

 Paws B’Cause Designs will display and sell their colorful handmade marker drawn wooden signs or colored pencil drawings of dogs and quotes. They will also donate a portion of sales back to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. 

All dogs must remain leashed during this event.
