Benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund
Sip, shop and stroll Thursday, September 29th and Thursday, October 27th in support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Guests can sample red, white and sparkling wine along with beer at select Waverly Place merchants. All selections are chosen by Triangle Wine Company. A $25 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to aid in the fight against all cancers affecting women allows access to the event, along with a sampling glass and Waverly Place Wine Walk Passport. Donations will be accepted at Kay Yow Cancer Fund booth in The Park. Tickets can also be purchased in advance online here. Guests must be over 21 years of age to sample wines.

About the Kay Yow Cancer Fund
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was founded on December 3, 2007 by NC State women’s basketball Coach Kay Yow. First diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, Coach Kay passed away on January 24, 2009. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to fixing health inequity and fighting all cancers that affect women. The fund raises money for scientific research for the development of life-enhancing drugs and clinical studies, serve the underserved, and unify people for a common cause.
