Coming Soon: Contender eSports

Waverly Place broadens its entertainment options with the addition of Contender eSports. The premier franchise for state-of-the-art gaming centers will be in a 2,441 square foot space in Suite 108C across from Tasu Asian Bistro on the Park Level. Equipped with high-end PCs, Xboxes and Nintendo switches, visitors can get ahead of the game at Contender eSports and train like the pros.

Introducing: L.A. Bikini

L.A. Bikini brings its newest franchise location to Waverly Place. Located in Suite D208 on the Plaza Level next to Drybar, the 1,500 square foot space joins many other L.A. Bikini locations across the United States. L.A. Bikini is known for its sugaring-based hair removal, developed as a superior alternative to the current leading technique of waxing. As developed by L.A. Bikini, sugaring is less painful, more comfortable and more effective than traditional waxing and has surged in popularity over the last few years as a better alternative. The Cary location is making two memberships available to customers in the area: the L.A. Bikini, starting at $48 per month, and the Savvy Girl, starting at $75 per month. The goal of the Savvy Girl membership is to permanently reduce hair growth over time.

Introducing: StretchLab

StretchLab debuts at Waverly Place! The 1,360 square foot space occupies Suite 212 on the Plaza Level next to CorePower Yoga. The expert specialists at StretchLab have redefined what it means to get a stretch. Having someone with years of experience ready your body and assess your needs to ensure that you’ve been thoroughly stretched is an experience like no other. No two stretches at StretchLab are the same, as one-on-one stretching is about identifying tightness and imbalance and customizing a stretch routine for each client.

Ninth Annual Snow Day

Winter magic returns to the Triangle! Bundle up and join Waverly Place for its Ninth Annual Snow Day event on Saturday, February 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festivities include sledding hills, plenty of snow for snowball fights and DJ, plus family activities and games.

Presented by Johnson Subaru of Cary, attendees of this year’s event can enjoy specials from Waverly Place retailers including giveaways and in-store promotions. A full overview of retailer specials can be found online. The whole family can also head to The Park for a variety of cool activities to take part in, like cookie decorating, balloon twisting and lawn games. Plus, delicious winter treats will be available for purchase from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Attendees must register in advance for a designated sledding time slot beginning at 11 a.m. Sledding tickets are $8 and include the use of a special sled for the snow hills. Each ticket is valid for a one-hour session within your purchased time slot, which permits access to two sledding hills. Tickets are available online. Check-in for each session will be available 30 minutes before your session Start Time at the check-in tent. Attendees will receive a wristband once they turn in their ticket for their official sledding session time slot. Adults may accompany their child on the same sled if needed, but tickets must be purchased for both the adult and child.
